The Leaders Checklist for Making a Change

Change is difficult and requires skillful leadership to navigate it well. Sometimes it feels like ninety percent of a leaders job is producing change while ninety percent of people don’t like change! So when a leader enters into the dangerous waters of change he must move wisely. As you consider the next change you’re going to initiate ask yourself the following questions…

CHECKLIST FOR CHANGE…

1. What problem am I trying to address by making a change? (Do others see this same problem?)… Continue

The Lonliness of Leadership

There are days leadership can be very lonely. I didn’t realize that until I became a church planter back in 1997. Shortly after planting Carolina Forest Community Church I began to feel a pressure I had never felt before. I sensed that while my team loved me, they really didn’t understand what I was going through as the leader. Senior leaders face unique pressures that others simply cannot understand until they are in that role themselves.

As the senior leader of the Hebrew people Moses had to… Continue

I will indeed! I think there is someone on your end who is helping us with some of the logistics of the trip. I will be sure to see if there might be a time for them to meet with you.

Thanks Mac,

We've got a number of people from Grace Chapel (Elders and Leadership Team members with spouses) heading to Seacoast to learn about your multi site strategy. I spent this past weekend at Northpoint with my wife and had some great conversations with key staff members. It will be interesting to see how our MS strategy gets shaped in the months ahead.

This looks like a great tool for collaboration! I assume you are the moderator/host?

Hey Mac,

I just got a call from a Pastor in Indiana that I just sent to the website to get more information on multisite. I gave him your name so he may contact you...just a heads up.

Thanks Mac. It was weird to change my profile. I can't believe that I have been at Seacoast for 15 years! I know that I will miss it, but excited about what God has for me at Cross Point. It's great that we can stay connected about MS through this site.

Mac, thanks for the note. Look forward to leaning a lot from the site and also contributing from our own growing pains in the world of multi-sites. We have one satellite campus currently; working on reconstruction of another with vision for several more. Thanks for creating this avenue for collaboration and sharing.

Hey Mac, thanks for the note. Yes, Allan's work with Strengths is amazing. And, what a great guy! He told me a bit about what you're doing, and it's fascinating! Very needed. Keep up the good work! Russ
